How far in advance should I book?
Three to seven days is usually enough. In peak season (July–August, Chinese New Year, national holidays) book two weeks ahead — Jeep numbers are capped.
How cold is it up there, and what should I wear?
Around 3–10℃ before dawn, with wind. Bring a thick jacket, long trousers, closed shoes, gloves and a hat. We also lend jackets free of charge.
Can I pay with WeChat Pay or Alipay?
Yes. We accept WeChat Pay, Alipay, bank transfer and cash in IDR, RMB or USD.
Is it suitable for elderly guests and children?
Yes. Horses are available up to the crater stairs and your guide assists throughout. For children under three, message us first.
What happens if it rains or the trail closes?
If volcanic activity or weather makes the climb unsafe, you can reschedule at no cost or receive a full refund.
How do I get there from Surabaya airport?
We pick up at Surabaya (Juanda) and Malang airports. It is a 3–4 hour drive straight to your hotel in the Bromo area.
